This is from Qur'an. I googled the English translation of this Verse:
In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Allah (God) is he, than whom there is no other god;- the sovereign, the holy one, the source of peace (and perfection), the guardian of faith, the preserver of safety, the exalted in might, the irresistible, the supreme: glory to allah! (high is he) above the partners they attribute to him.

All the Mosque in Córdoba is full of verses like these, as in the Alhambra in Granada.

Actually I can't translate Arabic into any language!
In Iran, Qur'an comes with various translations including Farsi, English, etc.

Un cadrage impécable de ce fragment de porte de la célèbre mosquée.
En général, les inscriptions et les arabesques qui ornent les façades et les intérieurs des lieux de culte sont toutes de nature religieuse et sont tirées du Coran. Indépendamment du message qu'elles contiennent, c'est surtout le travail extraordinaire sur le stuc par l'artisan qui m'interpelle...

Mihrab : pour la décoration de cette niche octogonale on fit appel à des artistes byzantins qui réalisèrent les merveilleuses mosaïques qui décorent son arc d'entrée et la superbe coupole qui le précède. Impeccable cadrage Paco !
