Ah, there's so much here. The angle (from above) and the distance (67mm) -- aren't these the way we always see people sleeping on the street: from above and at a distance?

There's some lens compression, too. The man is slightly flattened against the road. But at the same time, the perspective shows us buildings that almost seem to loom over him. Because even without being inside the buildings, his shelter is the street. And the street includes the very buildings into which he has been denied entry, or has denied himself.

It's the same here, of course. Same scene.

So sad that this is his bedroom and all his belongings are able to be carried in one bag. Great bird's eye view of another side of life.

Amazing shot from this angle! It really hits you hard. Having nothing. Besides the cars. The trash collection. Nothing but a piece of cardboard to sleep on. Extraordinary.

He doesn't seem the "typical" street person at all. It just shows how tough times have gotten.

So sad to people sleeping like this but I think its good to document it like this, I am working on a series of shots of people on the street, ranging from people like this forced to choosing to sleep on the street to average everyday people

This photo is awesome Paco! This photo gets people talking....like...all of us are talking right now. But there is something different and special. It almost has a message or could have many! This is telling me that this might not possibly be a street person at all but just a dude that while out riding needed to sleep and squeezed into the one car spot with another car, he pulled out his yoga mat and sacked it right there. He felt relaxed enough to even take off his shoes and lay out his pure spring water! He was on top of the world :) I Really LIKE this photo!!
