Torres CTBA, Madrid

Posted by
Paco Díaz (Palma de Mallorca, Spain) on 17 May 2010 in Architecture.

Madrid...I remember landing there and having to wait to get to the National airport and there had been a bank coup of some sort and everyone was being searched, stripped, women were sent to a private room for undressing, I was twenty and i couldn't image what was about to happen, then it was my turn and the immigration officer looked at me , asked for my passport, then smiled and said ' Ha Canadiena? Maria-Claudia (middle name is Marie-Claude) si, si...' and they let me out without a search, those are the days I love being Canadian lol oh I got lost in the memory....

@Lorraine: In Spain I think that all people like canadians. I love Canada and canadians, everybody is so kind and easy... I have been several times in Canada, teaching Spanish literature in different universities. Last time two years ago, in London, Ontario.

Saludos.
